Juntar is a small, invite-by-link site where a few hosts share trips with friends and school families. This page says, in plain words, what the site keeps about you and who can see it. Last updated October 2, 2026.
What we collect
- To sign in: your first name and your email address. Sign-in works with a 6-digit code we email you; there are no passwords.
- If you add them: a last initial (used only when two people share a first name) and a mobile number (so a host can reach you; we don't text you).
- When you RSVP to a trip: your answer (going, maybe, can't, or interested), how many adults and kids are in your party as numbers, which nights, whether you're bringing a vehicle, a note to the host, and the attractions you picked.
- Kids are counts only. Accounts are for adults. The site never asks for a child's name, age or photo.
- Housekeeping: which devices are signed in, and a log of changes (for example "RSVP updated") so hosts can see what changed.
Who can see what
- Anyone with a link sees the trip guide and, if the host allows it, a count such as "8 people in". Never names.
- People who RSVP'd to a trip see who else is coming to that trip: first names, party sizes, nights, and whether they're bringing a vehicle. Never email addresses, phone numbers or notes.
- That trip's hosts see everything about RSVPs to their own trip, including email, phone and notes, so they can plan. Hosts of other trips don't see it. Each time a host opens contact details, it is logged.
- The site admin can approve or block accounts and fix problems. Those reads are logged too.
A host can also add someone who told them in person. If that person later signs in with the same email address, the entry becomes theirs.
What we don't do
We don't sell or share your information, show ads, or use tracking or analytics scripts. Email goes out only for sign-in codes, your own RSVP receipts, updates from your trip's host, and reminders before the trip. You can turn off updates and reminders on your account page.
Where it lives
The site runs on Cloudflare: pages, the database, and email sending. Backups of the database are kept in private Cloudflare storage. Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, and a few scripts load from cdnjs and Cloudflare.
Your choices
On your account page you can change your details, turn email updates off, sign out on every device, download everything the site holds about you, or delete your account. Deleting removes your name, email, phone, notes and picks right away. Your past RSVPs stay only as anonymous counts so hosts' headcounts stay right.
Questions: ask the host who invited you.
